Nursery Cook

Summary

We are looking for an experienced cook to prepare and present our onsite, nutritious tasty menu each day.
The role is working with children, harvesting, washing, preparing vegetable and fruit from our Veggie patch. Then chopping and preparing the food to create yummy snacks and meals.
This is a rewarding role, where the right candidate can share their knowledge of food and the benefits it has on our bodies. They will be enthusiastic and promote a healthy attitude towards food. They will be calm, friendly and caring and enjoy spending time with children.
The successful person will ideally already have a Level 3 in Food hygiene and nutrition, but we are happy to support them to achieve this. They will also be required to complete a Paediatric first aid course if they haven't already attained this.
It is essential that the successful person has a high standard of hygiene, are able to be organised with record keeping and managing tasks in a timely manner.
